2026 NCAA Division I women's golf regional selections announced

2026 NCAA DI women's golf selection show

INDIANAPOLIS — The NCAA Division I Women's Golf Committee has announced the teams and individuals selected to participate in the regionals of the 2026 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships.

Regional play will take place May 11-13 at six regional sites, with 396 participants and each site featuring 12 teams and six individuals. The top five teams (30 teams total) and the low individual not on an advancing team (six individuals total) from each regional site will advance to compete in the national championships to be played May 22-27 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. Championship play will be hosted by Texas, with the final three days of the championships televised live by the GOLF Channel.   

The regional sites and the selected teams and individuals are listed below. 

Ann Arbor Regional Site

The Ann Arbor Regional will be played at the University of Michigan Golf Course in Ann Arbor, Michigan and will be hosted by Michigan.

The Chapel Hill Regional will be played at UNC Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and will be hosted by North Carolina.

Twenty-nine conferences received automatic qualification to the 2026 Division I Women's Golf Championships. Regional tournaments are considered preliminary rounds of NCAA championships competition and all national championships policies apply.
